‘Nini Pitt taught Drama at Thames Christian School for approximately sixteen years. During that time she taught Drama up to and including GCSE. Nini also wrote, adapted and directed productions, including Shakespeare, bringing the text alive for her pupils and introducing them to playwrights they did not yet know. Nini introduced LAMDA performance exams to the school and a significant number of her students gained Distinctions. During the lessons the pupils learned from Nini’s own experience as a professional actor, whilst they grew in confidence and found their true potential. Students included my own daughter who thrived under Nini's tutelage and went on to gain the Trinity Diploma in Musical Theatre at Bird College.  Other students gained successful entry to the BRIT School. I can say that any student who was taught by Nini considered it an immense privilege.’
